Tech Events Coordinator - Srikanta


1. Eureka - Paper Presentation

  • Results for Eureka has been announced, for the list CLICK HERE

Rules For Eureka

  • Maximum number of authors per paper - Two.

  • Paper must be written in std IEEE Format. [To download, CLICK HERE ]

  • Presentation should be given in MS Power Point 2003 format.

  • In case of multiple selection, 1 paper per team is the limit.

  • Selected participants should get 3 hard copies of the paper.

  • Total Time for presentation is 8+2=10 Mins.

  • 2 Mins is reserved for Q&A Session.

Circuit Debugging


  • The participants will be informed about the required output before the start of the event.

  • Components will be provided by the organizers except for calculators.

  • Perfect demonstration of the CRO output is required.

  • Maximum of 3 entries per college and 2 entries per team.

  • Time Limit : 3 hours

Trade Off

  • Each team is provided with virtual money for the event.

  • The virtual money can be used by the teams to buy additional components required to build the circuits.

  • Half the cost of the component will be credited (as virtual money) on returning the component in working condition.

  • An incentive (virtual money) is awarded to all circuits that obtain the expected output.

  • The amount to be added will be decided based on the quality of the result obtained and the discretion of the judges.

  • Maximum of 3 entries per college and 2 entries per team.

  • Time Limit : 3hrs

NOTE : Teams will NOT be allowed to carry their own personal components to the event. All the components required for the event will be provided by the organizers.

MATrazzi – MATLAB Programming

Here we are looking for a juggler who can juggle with the most powerful industrial tool - The MATLAB. In our search we will pose some hurdles for you. lets see if you can control our senses with your magical ALGORITHMS & appealing graphics to let us FILTER YOU TO THE TOP.


  • A few problems based on Control Systems &  Signal processing will be given to the participants.

  • Participants need to analyze the problem and solve it in the specified time.

  • Participants can use the help section of MATLAB.

  • 3 Teams per college & 2 per Team

  • Time Limit : 3 hours.

Prelims :-

  • Written round

Finals :-

  • Softwares provided Adobe Flash CS3, Adobe Dreamweaver CS4, Photoshop CS3,Basic HTML Editor.

  • Internet Browsers - Firefox Mozilla, Google Chrome, Internet explorer

  • Time limit : 3hrs.

  • Drawing details will be given on the 2D and the output should be shown on screen which will be evaluated.

  • Software provided Auto CADD 2004 &  Solid Edge 18.
